Our New Charity Partnership with Ickle Pickles
Did you know that in the UK, 1 in 13 babies are born prematurely (before 37 weeks of pregnancy)?
This month is World Prematurity Month with World Prematurity Day being observed on the 17th November to raise awareness of preterm birth and the concerns of preterm babies and their families.
To mark this, Tiny Tatty Teddy, our adorable nursery brand, is starting a 12-month partnership with The Ickle Pickles Children’s Charity who do amazing work supporting neonatal units by fundraising for the vital equipment needed to help keep the babies in their care alive.
Who Are the Ickle Pickles Children's Charity?
The Ickle Pickles Charity aims to give every new baby a chance by funding life-saving equipment such as ventilators and incubators for neonatal units around the country. As well as helping premature babies, Ickle Pickles also helps every child in neonatal care who may have been born sick and in need of extra care. We're partnering with Ickle Pickles to help raise awareness of the important work the charity does and to help them raise some vital funds to support the work they do.
How Are We Supporting Ickle Pickles?
For the whole of November we willl be donating 10% of all sales of products in our Tiny Tatty Teddy collection placed on our website directly to the charity.
We will also be running lots of giveaways on our Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts giving you the chance to win some of our cute Tiny Tatty Teddy baby gifts and Tiny Tatty Teddy bears.
We will also be sharing some of the amazing stories of the super Mummies and Daddies that have their own Ickle Pickles and how the charity has helped them and supported them through their journey with their baby.
